In 2014 The Dutch Filmfund supports the development of FEBRUAR. In 2011 the Dutch Artfund supported the production of [mu:stərman]. Handelingen received financial aid from the Dutch Artfund (BKVB) and the Dutch Filmfund. In 2009, Maarten got a stipend as external participant of the Netherlands Institute for Animation Film.

Maarten Isaäk de Heer was born the 18th of august 1977 in
Diepenveen, NL. Father of four sons. Now working and living in Berlin. Studied fine arts at Minerva Academy in Groningen, Kungliga Konsthoegskolan in Stockholm and Atelier Luxus in Berlin. Since 2002 specialized in tradigital 2D animation, digital painting, gardening, directing christmas plays and full dome landscapes.
